First State Bank has implemented Telephone Banking effective immediately. This is a service that is being offered to all of our customers at no charge.
You can get current balances on checking and savings accounts as well as information on transactions such as checks and deposits that have posted to your account. You can even search by check number or dollar amount.

Here are instructions on how the telephone banking service works. Please read completely before beginning.
STEP 1. You will need your primary checking or savings account number.
STEP 2. You will need your social security number.
STEP 3. You will need a PIN(secret code)number that you can remember. This needs to be a 4 or 5 digit number.
STEP 4. The Telephone Banking numbers are: (806) 832-0777 or
STEP 5. Make sure you have the information from steps 1-4 above and then dial one of the Telephone Banking numbers.
STEP 6. It will ask you to enter in your account number. Then press the pound sign on your telephone keypad. The "pound" sign on your telephone keypad looks like: #.
STEP 7. Enter the last four digits of your social security number. If you have a business that uses a federal tax I. D. number then enter the last four digits of that number.
NOTE: If the social security number that you entered does not work it could be that it was set up under your spouse's social security number.
STEP 8. It will now ask you to change your PIN. Enter the PIN number that you created in Step 3.
STEP 9. The system is now available for you to use. Just follow the directions.
